Keynote Speech at Georgian Technical University on the 28th December 2022

Thank you Prof. Emilia Alaverdov for your vote of confidence in my abilities and skills. I am deeply honored and humbled by the invitation. In my Keynote Speech delivered during the proceedings of the Second International Conference Modern World Challenges, I intend to touch upon various regional issues of global importance, talk about our lessons from the Arab Spring, and our dealings with al-Qaeda, ISIS, and Boko Haram. I will outline a couple of issues related to the condition of contemporary Humanitarian Law, Just War Tradition, and the Responsibility to Protect Doctrine, and present a couple of ideas on how we could fix specific issues in a more systemic manner, so we can reform the United Nations in a way that it would actually tranistion into the organization that is capable of dealing with the global problems at hand in a more effective manner.
