Prof. Babones of the University of Sydney exhibits a rare talent for describing the complex interdependence of the era of globalization with considerable ease. He infuses his research with a robust emphasis on statistics and macroeconomy. In this interview, Prof. Babones explains his in statu nascendi (creation process), discusses his methods, and brings to the fore the rigorous ways one must conduct statistical research for a more tangible result. Everyone who studies the geopolitics of China, India, and the BRICS countries quotes his work extensively. He has authored countless academic publications; your insights are still rock solid despite the passing time. His predictions and forecasts are richly quoted by leading scientists everywhere. Foreign Affairs Magazine has published some of your most influential works. In this short interview, we discuss globalization and deglobalization, Trump’s tariff policy, China and India’s rise, and the forthcoming Trump-Putin Alaska Summit concerning the war in Ukraine. Prof. Babones also shares insights about his recent publication, Dharma Democracy: How India Built the Third World's First Democracy. @InStatuNascendiThinkTank https://lnkd.in/dXTJiSxQ
